This runs on your own hardware, not the machine hosting this console. Point it at your Ollama, or give it your own Anthropic key — whichever you have. Your key is encrypted with your login code, so nobody here can read it, including whoever runs this server.

Browser and desktop control

Anvella drives a browser of its own — never your everyday one, and only sites you have allowed. These are the pieces that needs. Nothing is downloaded unless you press a button.

The free stack

One open-source model for every job Anvella has. Nothing here is downloaded automatically — these are gigabytes, so installing is your choice. Licence is a shipping decision: several well-known models are not free to use in a product you sell, and those are flagged.

Access codes

Everyone who can reach this console needs a code. Each one gets its own vault, journal, tasks, memory, spend cap and assistant — nothing is shared. A code is shown once, when it is issued, because only its hash is kept here.

A real workbook — every number on the Summary sheet is a formula, not a paste. Federal + self-employment tax, and state tax for the four verified states only; anywhere else shows as unsupported rather than a guessed number. An ESTIMATE, never tax-filing software.

Four rungs: free local models, then an interchangeable cheap tier, then Claude Sonnet, then Claude Opus. Each rung is reached only when the one below it has demonstrably struggled — see the reason on the last answer below.

Email alerts

Warns a customer account by email the first time it crosses 80% or 90% of its own monthly cap — only if that account has an email on file (Codes tab) and only once per threshold, per month. Off until both are filled in and switched on.

For Gmail: Google Account → Security → 2-Step Verification → App passwords — a 16-character password scoped to just this, not your real Gmail password. Any other SMTP provider's own credentials work the same way. Stored in this machine's own settings file, same as everything else on this page — not the encrypted-per-account store the Codes tab secrets use.
